Is Scarlet RF right for me? Practically anyone can benefit from this procedure. Scarlet RF works on all skin types as the patented technology is based on radio waves. Scarlet RF is not safe for patients who are pregnant or are expecting.

What areas can be treated with Scarlet RF? Practically all areas of the body can be treated with Scarlet S RF. Scalp, face, neck, decolletage/chest, abdomen, arms, thighs and knees. It is also safe for the lips and the eye area, including eyelids. We can also treat scars virtually anywhere on the body.

‎How long until I see results? Some visible tightening results come immediately, and the results of dermal remodeling appear over time as collagen and elastin fibers regenerate. For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in two to three months. A minimum of three sessions is recommended for optimal results. The results can last six months to a year, depending on your general skin condition, and touch-up procedures can help maintain your appearance over time.

Post-treatment or downtime? Scarlet RF is the safest treatment in the field of RF systems, with little to no downtime and no side effects. For just a few hours after your treatment, redness and a little swelling can be expected, though both should only be mild. Your face might feel warm, like you’ve had a mild sunburn. Basic skin and hair care is all that’s needed in the days after the procedure. Most patients return to their regular activities immediately following treatment. For those receiving a scalp treatment, you may feel a slight pulling or tugging sensation for a few days. Before treatment medical requirements:

  • Avoid the use of NSAIDs, and blood thinners in one (1) week before the treatment.

  • Avoid chemical peels in one to six (1~6) weeks before the treatment.

  • Avoid LED or non-invasive lasers in two to three (2~3) weeks before the treatment.

  • Avoid invasive lasers in six to twelve (6~12) weeks before the treatment.

  • Cease use of Retin A, and Retinols one (1) month before the treatment.

  • Avoid hair perm or hair dye in one (1) week before treatment.

  • Patients with implanted defibrillators or pacemakers.

  • Patients that have diagnosed skin cancers, other cancer types, and/or precautious warts.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
